Toyota Mobility Accessories Now Available in Mansfield

Toyota Australia has launched a new Assisted Mobility Solutions range of Toyota Genuine Accessories, designed to make entering, exiting and travelling in a vehicle easier for people who require mobility support.

Available now through Toyota Dealers, including Mansfield Toyota, the range includes five practical products designed to support everyday movement and help people travel more freely and independently.

Practical mobility support for everyday travel

More than 5.5 million Australians, or over 21 per cent of the population, identify as people with disability. For many people, entering and exiting a vehicle can present a significant barrier to independent travel.

Toyota’s Assisted Mobility Solutions provide practical, vehicle-integrated support without requiring extensive vehicle modifications. The accessories may also assist carers and family members who help with everyday transport.

The range has been developed with a strong focus on usability. Each product is designed to be simple to use, transportable and compatible with most Toyota models.

Five Toyota Assisted Mobility Solutions

The range includes five Toyota Genuine Accessories:

Assist Handle

The Assist Handle provides an additional point of support when entering or exiting the vehicle.

Assist Strap

The Assist Strap provides practical support for people moving into or out of a vehicle.

Swivel Assist Cushion

The Swivel Assist Cushion is designed to help make turning on the vehicle seat easier when entering or exiting.

Rear Assist Handle

Positioned behind the front seat, the Rear Assist Handle provides an accessible support point for passengers travelling in the rear.

Seatbelt Assist

The Seatbelt Assist is designed to make reaching and positioning the seatbelt easier.

The products have been engineered to Toyota standards of quality, safety, reliability and durability.

Toyota Australia Vice President Sales, Marketing and Franchise Operations John Pappas said the accessories were created for people with diverse mobility needs.

“These are relatively simple products but ones that can make a big difference to the ease of getting in and out of a vehicle for anyone who needs mobility support,” Mr Pappas said.
